‘The Galway Dress’
I really do not want the Summer to end, it feels like it barely begun, at least weather-wise with our lack of sunshine here in Galway.
It is now the end of August, the mornings are getting darker earlier and yet we are still awaiting the miracle of an Indian Summer. (quietly hopeful…)
I decided to dip my toes in Autumn hues earlier than usual, as this dress is a great transitional piece from Summer to Autumn…
I showed my inability to let the Summer go completely in my accessories.
The Grecian necklace is a statement piece and very versatile. Against the wine of the dress it really gets a moment. I finished off with more is more, and added a bangle on each wrist.
The Gladiator sandals are my new love, the blush nude tone and the Grecian straps have endless outfit possibilities, whilst being oh so comfy…
The gold straw clutch is subtle and picks up the tones in my bangles..
This outfit was for a dinner date, hope you liked it. If living in Galway you would be familiar that maroon and white are the Galway colours (football/hurling) and the forthcoming all Ireland final on Sunday next is upon us, so as I will not be in the country that day I will still watch it,(somewhere?) and may even wear this dress…
I am currently planning my upcoming holiday in exactly a week and I am deliriously excited as we have so much fun things planned. Keep eyes peeled on my instagram for my up to date photos and I will do new blog posts when I return..eeeeek!!!!
